Cash point theft
Am I the only person who believes the police should pay a visit to the houses of each of those people photographed in a queue to withdraw cash from an ATM, which was dispensing twice the amount requested, and arrest their sorry asses for THEFT?

The Special Relationship
We have long had a so-called 'special relationship' with the USA.
I don't mean agreeing to invade Iraq so our leader can get some shiny new bling.
What is Gordon Brown up to though?
We're just about to have a new president inaugurated and GB is doing his best to piss off the yanks almost every time he speaks.
"started in America" is all he seems to be saying (apart from the countless other soundbites and yes, I know that didn't really work!)
If he constinues blaming America for the world's problems he may as well rip up his invitation to the ceremony.
Maybe we're next?

The Achieve Nothing party
Nice quote from Gideon -
"He can support the radical action needed to limit the effects of the recession or he can continue to achieve nothing."
The tide seems to be slowly turning. From being sick of hearing Broon and his lackies chanting the (doubtless Mandelson) line about the 'Do Nothing' party the Tories can turn the tables somewhat with this angle of attack and press home with the new song -
The party opposite is the spend a fortune, rack up billions in debt, hike up taxes but..."Achieve Nothing" party.
Hilarious.

Organs for sale
I am astounded to read in today's Sunday Times that organs donated in Britain are being offered to foreign nationals who pay up to £75k to have the organ transplanted in an NHS hospital.
Consultants are pocketing a £20k fee for carrying out the operation.
I realise Brown has cocked up the country's finances but this is the last resort.
I carry a donor card but I expect any of my organs to be used to prolong the life of someone in this country and certainly not to be sold on to line the pockets of either the NHS or surgeons.
I rather think millions of donor card carriers have the same opinions.
It's simply outrageous and indefensible.

Bishop to Brown's pawn 2
At long last someone prepared to stand up and be counted.
Much as I disagree with the majority of what religions are all about (witness what's occurring in the Middle East at present) they at least have the bottle to criticise the government's woeful attempts to resolve our economics problems.
I'm not sure they should be meddling in politics but they are right to describe the Labour party's policies as scandalous.
Zanu Labour then defend themselves by saying the Tories would reduce public spending resulting in the closure of schools and hospitals. Hmm, a few less of those ridiculous false townhall jobs monitoring what shouldn't need monitoring in the first place would save us the future tax rises in store.
